Adory Terms of Use

Welcome to Adory! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Adory mobile application, related services, and features (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using Adory, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum age required to use the Service under the laws of your country or region. If you are under the age required to enter into a binding agreement, you may only use Adory with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. License to Use Adory

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Adory for your personal, non-commercial use.

This license does not permit you to:

• Copy or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.
• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code unless allowed by applicable law.
• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service.
• Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved.

3. Accounts

Adory may create an anonymous account associated with your app installation. Some features may allow you to sign in using your Google account or another supported authentication provider.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device.
• Activities performed using your account.
• Promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Android Permissions

Adory uses certain Android permissions to provide its core functionality, including but not limited to:

• Display over other apps
• Notifications
• Network access
• Storage access, where applicable
• Other permissions required for optional features

You may revoke permissions through your Android device settings. Doing so may disable or limit certain features of the Service.

5. User Content

Some features may allow you to create, customize, upload, or share content, including pet customizations, names, screenshots, or other materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting or sharing User Content through Adory, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the Service.

You represent that:

• You own or have permission to share your content.
• Your content does not violate any law or another person's rights.
• Your content does not contain malware or harmful software.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Access another person's account without authorization.
• Attempt to bypass security measures.
• Reverse engineer or exploit the Service.
• Interfere with the operation or availability of the Service.
• Upload malicious software or harmful content.
• Use automated systems to abuse the Service.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Use Adory in violation of Google Play policies or Android platform rules.

We may remove content or restrict access if we believe these Terms have been violated.

7. Paid Features

Adory may offer optional paid features, subscriptions, virtual items, or in-app purchases.

If you make a purchase:

• Payments are processed through Google Play or another authorized platform.
• Subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the applicable app store's policies.
• Prices may change for future purchases where permitted by law.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, virtual items have no monetary value outside the Service and are non-transferable.

8. Updates and Changes

We may:

• Add or remove features.
• Modify how the Service operates.
• Release bug fixes or security updates.
• Change supported Android versions.
• Discontinue features or portions of the Service.

Some updates may be required for continued use of Adory.

9. Intellectual Property

Adory and all associated software, artwork, graphics, animations, characters, designs, logos, trademarks, sounds, and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not use our intellectual property without our written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

Adory may integrate with third-party services, including:

• Google Sign-In
• Google Play Services
• Google Play Billing
• Firebase
• Analytics providers
• Crash reporting services

Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services.

11. Service Availability

We strive to keep Adory available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to:

• Maintenance
• Updates
• Network issues
• Platform outages
• Circumstances beyond our control

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if:

• You violate these Terms.
• Your use poses a security risk.
• We are required by law.
• We discontinue the Service.

You may stop using Adory at any time by uninstalling the application.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, will remain in effect.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adory is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy
• Reliability
• Availability
• Security

We do not guarantee that the Service will always operate without interruption or error.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of Adory.

This includes, without limitation:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Loss of business
• Device issues
• Service interruptions

If we are found liable despite the foregoing, our total liability shall not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid for Adory or its paid features during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim; or
• USD $10.00 if no payment was made.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations. In those jurisdictions, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the Service.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of another person's rights.
• Content you submit or share.

16. Export Compliance

You agree not to use or export the Service in violation of applicable export control or sanctions laws.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Where permitted by law, disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, provide notice within the app or through other reasonable means.

Continued use of Adory after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
